About Tayla

TayTay is the pōtiki of our sisterhood, hailing from the stunning Far North. She describes herself as a connector and a collector of whānau, bringing people together with a natural ease and warmth.

Before joining our collective, Tayla had a diverse career across recruitment, event management, academia, and most recently social marketing and co-design with our friends at Curative, where we had the privilege of collaborating on many exciting kaupapa.

A firm believer in the power of a kaputī, Tayla is all about building strong relationships, sharing stories, and figuring out the recipes to activate the village as a whole. She’s brilliant at project management, facilitation, and holding space for courageous conversations. Her 'calendar tetris' skills are legendary, and if you need someone to juggle multiple tasks without missing a beat, she’s your go-to.

Raised in a close-knit, hardworking whānau with unapologetic aunties, humble uncles, cheeky cousins, and storytelling kaumātua, it’s no surprise that Tay finds joy in connecting and collecting whānau, weaving everyone together to get the job done. Whether it's through a shared story, a team effort, or a well-timed pickled creation, Tayla brings the essence of whānau into everything she does. Simply put, she's the glue that keeps things together with a big heart and a sharp mind.
