About Rangimārie

Rangimārie grew up on a dirt road in the North Hokianga, and the call of home brought her back to raise her whānau. With gumboots on and hands in the soil, she plants and nurtures seeds that fill both cupboards and puku with the same ease as cultivating kaupapa and systems for the benefit of future generations.

A true creative with a flair for colour, Rangi has a knack for leading people off the beaten path—physically, mentally, and spiritually—into spaces of imagination, innovation, and (re)indigenisation. She has an exceptional ability to see complex challenges and meet them with curated simplicity, cutting through the noise to bring clarity and actionable solutions. Her stealth game is next level as she turns your world upside down in ways you didn’t know you needed. But don’t be fooled—when it comes to advocating for the voices of those often unheard, she’s unapologetic and determined.

Whether she’s championing social change, mentoring next generations, or simply nurturing her whenua and whānau, Rangimārie’s approach is grounded in love, authenticity, subtlety and a deep connection to her roots. With a balance of determination and a playful spirit, she breathes life into everything she does. Simply put, Rangimārie is a vibe, with a clear vision and the drive to turn it into reality.
